<B>1873 2C Open 3 PR65 Red and Brown PCGS.</B></I> The Open 3 restrikes had a slightly lower mintage than their "original" counterparts, and in some grades, the former command a significant premium over the latter. This lovely Gem has slivers of unfaded copper color on the reverse, though much of the piece has dusky orange or violet hues. Crisply struck with well-preserved surfaces and minimal carbon.
