<B>1873 25C Arrows PR64 Cameo NGC.</B></I> Arrows were placed alongside the date, in 1873 and 1874, to denote an increase in weight from 96 to 96.45 grains. These were removed in 1875 , resulting in a two-year type that is understandably popular with collectors. This attractive proof is well struck and nicely preserved, with glassy mirrored fields and frosted icy-white devices. Speckled red-russet and cobalt-blue iridescence enhances the peripheries. A few faint hairlines are noted in the fields, and a single small contact mark rests alongside Liberty's left (facing) shoulder.
