<B>1873<$20> Open 3 MS63 PCGS.</B></I> The Open 3 1873 is the most frequently encountered Type Two twenty. That being said, it is also a coin that is seldom seen above MS62. Even in MS62 the Open 3 is a valuable type coin, but in MS63 it is seven times scarcer than an MS62 and three times more valuable. The value of the Open 3, of course, is as a representative of the short-lived Type Two series. This is a remarkable, upper-end MS63 coin. The surfaces are much cleaner than one would expect for the grade, and the mint luster is soft and frosted. Sharply defined throughout.
