<B>1872-S $10 AU53 NGC.</B></I> The 1872-S, with a mintage of 17,300 pieces, is usually seen in Extremely Fine grades, with anything finer elusive. This AU53 example displays yellow-gold surfaces that retain traces of luster in the protected areas. Good definition is noted on the design elements, save for softness in some of the star centers and portions of Liberty's hair. Minor flaws are consistent with the grade.
