<B>1872 H10C MS66 PCGS.</B></I> A sharply struck and frosty silver-gray example that exhibits delightful golden-tan patina at the margins. Though Philadelphia struck 2,947,000 half dimes in 1872, that Mint's production of nickels was double the half dime mintage, and the silver denomination would meet its end one year later.
