Much luster remains in the protected areas and the surfaces show less handling marks than usually seen in this grade. 26,900 pieces were minted of this issue, and it is apparent that most entered circulation and were regularly used in commerce. The example offered here thankfully avoided the heavy nicks and marks that plague many of the fellow survivors of this issue, and is lovely.
