<B>1872-CC 10C VF30 NGC.</B></I> A scarce Seated dime with an impressively low mintage of only 35,480 pieces. Only one die pairing is known, and the reverse die was used again in 1873 and 1874. On 1872 dimes, it is a die state question: Does it show the die crack through the mintmark that terminates at the right ribbon end? On this piece it is only faintly visible. The surfaces are light gray with modest portions of luster surrounding the devices.
