<B>1872 2C PR67 Red and Brown NGC.</B></I> This boldly struck Superb Gem has pleasing peach and ruby-red color on the obverse, while the reverse offers variegated orange and aquamarine hues. The motto is minutely die doubled at the peaks of the letters, most visible on the E in WE. No contact or carbon is apparent upon close inspection. STATES is lightly strike doubled west. Only 65,000 business strikes were coined in 1872, and proofs provide a high grade alternative. Population: 4 in 67 Red and Brown, none finer (11/07).<BR><BR><B>Coin Engraver:</B> James B.
