<B>1872 1C MS65 Red and Brown PCGS.</B></I> The 1872 is a lower mintage issue that has been the subject of hoarding in the past in the XF-MS63 grade range. Few Gems are known, and are infrequently encountered. This is an attractive coin whose original mint red color is evenly mellowed over each side, giving the piece a well-balanced appearance. Just a bit softly struck over the highpoints, though all four diamonds are fairly sharp.
