<B>1871-S<$2 1/2> MS63 PCGS.</B></I> Well struck with pleasing lime-gold toning and carefully preserved surfaces that are very nearly blemish-free. The satin luster is attractive but not bright enough to inspire a finer grade designation. With a mintage of only 22,000 pieces, this date is scarce in all grades, but especially so in Mint State. Population: 6 in 63, 6 finer (9/06).
