<B>1871 S$1 MS64 NGC.</B></I> While not a rarity in the Seated dollar series, there are nowhere as many 1871 dollars available as 1859-O and 1860-O. A few dozen are known in MS64 condition and very few finer. This is a lovely piece that is nearly untoned and shows thick mint frost over each side with the semi-reflective sheen in the fields that is seen on many Seated dollars. Sharply struck throughout with no mentionable marks.
