1871 H10C Half Dime, Judd-1069, Pollock-1205, R.7, PR65 Red and Brown PCGS. A seated figure of Liber
1871 H10C Half Dime, Judd-1069, Pollock-1205, R.7, PR65 Red and Brown PCGS. A seated figure of Liberty facing left is seen on the obverse with the date 1871 below. She is surrounded by an arc of thirteen stars and wears an Indian headdress, supporting a Liberty Pole with her right hand. The reverse is the same type as was used to coin regular issue Half Dimes. Struck in copper with a reeded edge. The obverse shows deep brown and blue patina with a couple of tiny streaks of original luster around the margins, while the reverse is mostly full red with a slight overlay of brown on the devices. An outstanding Gem that is suggestive of an even higher grade. Important notice: We expect to be auctioning lots at the rate of 200-250 per hour.
