<B>1871-CC<S$1> VF35 PCGS.</B></I> One of only four CC-mint Seated Dollars, the 1871-CC boasts the lowest mintage (1,376 pieces) of all branch mint issues in this challenging series. Although it loses the top rarity title to the 1873-CC, the '71-CC is a genuinely rare coin in all grades with an extant population of perhaps 85-125 pieces. A bisecting swath of dark brown patina on the reverse interrupts the otherwise slate-gray coloration. There are scattered circulation marks, none of which stand out for the grade. The wear is even and the devices retain ample striking definition. Both the Carson City specialist and the Seated dollar collector would be wise to pay special attention when this coin crosses the auction block. <BR><BR><B>Important notice:</B> Heritage usually auctions material at the rate of 200-250 lots per hour. privileges conferred therein are strictly construed and is the exclusive
remedy. Purchaser by non-compliance to its express terms of a granted
remedy, shall waive any claim against Auctioneer.
<b>Dispute Resolution and Arbitration Provision:</b><o:p></o:p></span></li>

attorney's fees and costs. An arbitrator's award is enforceable in any
court of competent jurisdiction. Any claim made by a bidder has to be
presented within one (1) year or it is barred. Any claim as to provenance
or authenticity must first be transmitted to Auctioneer by credible and
definitive evidence and there is no assurance such presentment that
Auctioneer will validate the claim. Authentication is not an exact science
and other contrary opinions may not be recognized by Auctioneer. Auctioneer
in no event shall be responsible for consequential and incidental damages
and the value of an item is determined by its high bid, which is
Auctioneer's maximum liability. Provenance is not guaranteed by the
Auctioneer, but rather provenance is guaranteed by the consignor. Any
action or claim shall include the consignor with auctioneer acting as
interpleador or nominal party. While every effort is made to determine
provenance and authenticity it is up to the Bidder to arrive at that
conclusion prior to bidding.<o:p></o:p></span></li>

a previously consigned item occurs in violation of this provision,
Auctioneer reserves the right to charge Bidder the applicable Buyer's
