<B>1871-CC 50C XF45 PCGS.</B></I> For a coin with a mintage of 153,950 pieces one would expect a greater availability than is found with the 1871-CC half. However, virtually all the mintage went into circulation and stayed there. For the collector, it is not a question of what grade would one like; rather, it is a question of whether a '71-CC can be found at all.
