<B>1871-CC $20 XF45 PCGS.</B></I> Variety 1-A. Only 17,387 pieces were struck of this semi-key issue, most of which are located (when located) in VF-XF grades. A couple of dozen AU examples are known and there are even a few Mint State pieces at the top of the Condition Census, which is quite a different grade positioning from the 1870-CC where there are no Uncirculated pieces known and only nine AUs certified. This is a bright yellow-gold example that has even wear over the highpoints. Numerous small abrasions are peppered over each side, but the only ones worthy of mention are located in the left obverse field.<BR><BR><B>Coin Engraver:</B> James B.
