1871 50C Half Dollar, Judd-1110, Pollock-1246, R.8, PR65 Cameo PCGS. Ex: New Millennium Collection. A regular dies Seated half dollar reverse is paired with the familiar Indian Princess design, which has a starless periphery and thirteen stars on the second flag behind the seated Liberty. Liberty supports a Liberty pole, and rests her other hand on a globe inscribed LIBERTY at her side. Struck in aluminum with a reeded edge. A razor-sharp Gem with uncommonly near-pristine surfaces. A curly lintmark (as made) below the E in STATES is mentioned only for pedigree purposes. The dies are slightly rotated counterclockwise, and apparently shifted slightly between strikes, as the legends are widely (although faintly) strike doubled. Judd-1110 is exceptionally rare with only two other pieces certified, all three of which are PCGS coins and all are in Gem condition.
