1871 1C Cent PR62 Red and Brown PCGS. Dappled sandy-tan patina overlays otherwise orange-brown surfa
1871 1C Cent PR62 Red and Brown PCGS. Dappled sandy-tan patina overlays otherwise orange-brown surfaces. This is a crisply impressed specimen with some verdigris over the upper right obverse.1871 Two Cent Piece PR64 Brown PCGS. The otherwise orange-brown appearance yields to antique-gold tinting along the upper reverse border. Attractive, and solidly graded as a near-Gem with pinpoint striking definition and no singularly mentionable blemishes.1871 Three Cent Silver PR62 PCGS. Rich lavender-charcoal patina envelops both sides and lightens a little in the centers. The proof finish is largely concealed from view, but the razor sharp, nay full strike confirms this coin's specimen status. 1871 Three Cent Nickel PR65 PCGS. Powerfully impressed throughout, the surfaces are uniformly brilliant in finish. Both sides are free of noteworthy blemishes, and the surfaces are delicately patinated in mostly even golden iridescence.1871 Nickel PR64 PCGS. Brilliant features shimmer in most areas, but we do note a splash of medium dove-gray toning over the left and central obverse. Both sides are sharply struck with no mentionable hairlines. A lintmark (as struck) is noted in the reverse field before the 5, and a few swirls of carbon over and after the date probably account for the Choice designation.1871 Half Dime PR63 PCGS. Copper-charcoal toning envelops both sides of this sharply impressed example. The proof finish is not readily evident through the toning, but neither are distracting blemishes.1871 Dime PR62 PCGS. Mottled charcoal and copper-gray toning dominates the outward appearance, but sharply detailed devices are also noteworthy. Some of the proof finish in the fields is evident as the coin rotates under the light.1871 Quarter PR62 PCGS. Deeply toned in lavender-copper shades, this fully brought up specimen does not reveal any outwardly distracting blemishes. Select angles reveal reddish-champagne undertones that are largely confined to the peripheral areas.1871 Half Dollar PR62 PCGS. An irregular swath of lavender-charcoal color is seen through the center of the obverse. The balance of the surfaces are toned in slate-gray hues, and both sides are sharply defined in all areas. Subdued by the toning.1871 Silver Dollar PR61 PCGS. The toning is very similar to that seen on the Half Dollar in this set. Both sides are crisply detailed, there are some noticeable blemishes in the obverse field. 10 coins Important notice: We expect to be auctioning lots at the rate of 200-250 per hour.
