This is an Early American Pattern Glass footed sauce in the Westward Ho pattern that is 134 years old. It is highly embossed and detailed with trees, a deer, a cabin and a buffalo. It was made by Gillinder and Co in the 1870s and has a frosted bowl and clear footed base in non-flint glass. I have a total of three of these footed sauces at $95.00 each. They are not quite 3" tall and in mint condition with no chips or cracks. I bought this from a person I have been buying alot of pieces from in the last few months. All the items have been stored since the 1940s when his grandmother closed her antique shop in NJ and moved to Florida. It had never been unpacked or rewrapped until he brought it in in the original 1940s newspaper. Everything I have bought has been from the mid 1800s to early 1900s. Most of it mid to late 1800s. There is absolutely no doubt about this rare and wonderful piece.
