<B>1870-S G$1 MS63 NGC.</B></I> A sharply struck Mint State coin that is graced by the presence of reflective fields and lovely satin luster. Both sides have rich orange-gold color with accents of green and lilac toning. The 1870-S gold dollar is an elusive issue in Mint State grades, rarely seen in grades finer than AU58. NGC has only certified 29 Mint State examples of the date. NGC incorrectly labeled this piece as an 1870-S silver dollar. Census: 4 in 63, 7 finer (12/07).<BR><BR><B>Coin Engraver:</B> James B.
