<B>1870 S$1 MS62 PCGS.</B></I> The 1870 dollar is relatively easy to acquire in circulated grades, but becomes somewhat more elusive in Mint State. The MS62 coin available for sale in the current lot is essentially brilliant, and exhibits sharply struck devices, save for minor softness in the star centers along the right border, which tends to be a major characteristic of this issue. Several small marks, particularly on the obverse, prevent a higher grade.
