<B>1870<H10C> PR67 Cameo NGC.</B></I> A breathtaking specimen with silver-white, frosty devices and limitless mirrored fields, this Superb Gem half dime is completely unencumbered by impairments of any kind, save for a tiny area of dark toning near the R in AMERICA. Light die striations are visible under magnification on the obverse, a part of the die preparation. A relatively large number of proofs were produced in this year, perhaps reflective of both the increasing number of coin collectors as well as the change to a new decade.
