Quarto. 768 pages. Embellished with over 200 illustrations.<BR>Full leather binding with floral decoration stamped in blind on the boards and spine. Titles and additional decoration stamped in gilt on the spine and front board. Six compartments between five raised bands on the spine. Marbled endpapers. All edges gilt. Rubbing to highlights of the decoration on the boards and significant wear to the joints. Shelf wear to the edges. Poor attempt at conservation with the use of clear tape to reinforce the joints and protect the edges. Wear to the gilt edges of the pages. Hinges cracked but the text block is sound. Former owners have left old and interesting items pertaining to the family lineage laid-in.
