1870-CC S$1 AU55 PCGS. Variety 2-E. A rare and highly desirable Seated dollar, both because of the low mintage of only 11,758 pieces and the popularity of Carson City coinage. The surfaces have a coating of creamy dove-gray patina. The strike is somewhat irregular, with the head of Liberty and stars 5 to 10 somewhat weak. Otherwise, the elegant design details are well defined. A long, thin vertical abrasion runs from Liberty's neck to the shield; personal inspection is recommended. Population: 35 in 55, 30 finer (12/06).

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
