<B>1870-CC $1 AU58 NGC.</B></I> Variety 3-C. The 1870-CC is the first Carson City dollar issue, with the result that many were saved as the first of their kind. This lightly circulated example displays silver-gray surfaces with luster in the recesses. Somewhat better struck than average, with LIBERTY on the shield more prominent than usually seen.
