<B>1869 H10C Half Dime, Judd-692, Pollock-771, High R.7, PR65 Brown NGC.</B></I> Trial piece for the half dime struck from regular dies. Struck in copper with a reeded edge. According to the USPatterns.com website: "These were actually deliberately struck for sale to collectors as part of complete off-metal sets." This is a lovely Gem that retains just the slightest bit of red around the outer devices on the obverse. Elsewhere the surfaces are mostly deep blue (especially on the reverse).
