<B>1869 50C Standard Silver Half Dollar, Judd-745, Pollock-826, Low R.7, PR65 Brown NGC.</B></I> Liberty faces right, and wears a cap ornamented by two stars. A scroll beneath the bust bears the inscription IN GOD WE TRUST. UNITED STATES OF AMERICA otherwise fills the obverse border. The reverse features a wreath of oak and laurel leaves, with 50 CENTS tightly fit within the wreath, and the date below. STANDARD SILVER is centered above the wreath. Repunching is noted on the initial B, the L in LIBERTY, and the lower left reverse star. Struck in copper with a plain edge from slightly rotated dies. Less than a dozen individual pieces are known.
