<B>1869 50C Standard Silver Half Dollar, Judd-742a, Pollock-830, R.7, PR64 PCGS.</B></I> Standard Silver Design A: Liberty wears a cap with three stars as more fully described for Judd-696. A ribbon across Liberty's shoulder is inscribed LIBERTY. Struck in silver with a reeded edge. This piece lacks the usually seen small B for Charles Barber, located in the tiny space above the L of LIBERTY. Such pieces are apparently quite rare with only three or four examples currently identified.
