1869 25C Standard Silver Quarter Dollar, Judd-733, Pollock-814, R.5, PR63 PCGS. Standard Silver design with the bust of Liberty facing right, wearing a headband with LIBERTY inscribed upon it. UNITED STATES OF AMERICA surrounds most of the obverse margin with the motto set on a scroll below the bust of Liberty. On the reverse, 25 CENTS is surrounded by a wreath of oak and laurel leaves, and around the periphery is STANDARD SILVER 1869. Struck in silver with a reeded edge. These pieces are known on thin 77-grain and thick 84-grain planchets, but it is not possible to determine which planchet stock this piece is struck from. Light, hazy golden patina covers each side of this brightly reflective piece. Identifiable by a planchet irregularity over IL of SILVER.

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
