<B>1869 $2 1/2 MS61 PCGS.</B></I> The mintage of 4,320 pieces for the 1869 quarter eagle is enough to grab most people's attention. However, only a handful of Uncirculated coins have been graded with the finest at the MS63 level. This is an outstanding example, especially for the grade. The fields are brightly mirrored, as one would expect from such a limited production run. The devices are strongly defined on each side. A number of small abrasions are present, but are only discernible with a loupe, that define the grade.
