<B>1869 10C PR66 Cameo NGC.</B></I> Only 600 proofs were coined of this post-Civil War issue, of which the present piece is one of the finest handful known at either service with the Cameo designation. Effulgent brilliance bursts through the light, fairly even patina, which features hues of copper and lilac. Some light strike weakness is seen on the upper left (facing) wreath tip, and an interesting raised die line, as made, passes diagonally from the rim at 7 o'clock to the 1 in the date.
