<B>1869 $1 PR63 PCGS.</B></I> The numerical grade designation does not do justice to this '69 proof. Both faces rivet the attention of the observer, as the satiny devices appear to be suspended over deeply mirrored, watery fields. A powerful strike brings out fullness on all of the design elements, further enhancing the coin's attractiveness. Whispers of light gold patina gravitate to the borders, leaving the centers color free.
