<B>1868-S<$20> MS61 NGC.</B></I> The 1868-S is common in any circulated grade up to and including AU55. However, it becomes very scarce in Mint State. Virtually all Uncirculated 1868-S double eagles are extensively bagmarked, and grade no higher than MS60 or MS61. This example is richly lustrous, but mild overall scuffiness limits the grade. Census: 10 in 61, 4 finer (8/06).
