<B>1868 H10C MS66 NGC.</B></I> The 1868, with a business strike mintage of 88,600 pieces, is one of the better dates in the Seated half dime series. Premium Gem and finer coins are especially difficult to come by; NGC and PCGS have seen just eight MS66 examples, and seven specimens finer. The MS66 in the current lot displays snow-white surfaces and is well defined on its design elements. Some light die clash marks are noted on each side, and a squiggly lint mark occurs beneath the D in UNITED.
