<B>1868 G$1 MS64 Deep Mirror Prooflike NGC.</B></I> This is the only 1868 gold dollar with a Deep Mirror Prooflike designation from NGC (4/07). Such a description is usually reserved for Morgan silver dollars, but this piece clearly qualifies. At first glance, it looks just like an extremely rare proof, and it would not surprise us to learn that it might have been offered as a proof in the past. The mirrored fields are exceptional and the devices are highly lustrous.
