<B>1868 G$1 MS60 Prooflike NGC.</B></I> Strictly no trace of wear appears on this coin, and short of using a loupe, the surfaces appear fully prooflike and deserving of a significantly finer grade, with radiant luster and pleasing yellow-gold color. Under said loupe, fine field chatter and microabrasions appear, but the appeal remains. The 1868 gold dollar was minted to the extent of only 10,500 business strikes plus 25 proofs.
