1868 5C Five Cents, Judd-633, Pollock-705, R.5, PR64 PCGS. . The obverse is similar to the Three Cent Nickel obverse but in a larger format, and a prominent star is found on Liberty's coronet. The reverse has a prominent Roman numeral V within a wreath, topped by a Maltese cross and a scroll with motto. The date is well centered on the Pollock-705 variety of Judd-633, unlike its 'low date' Pollock-704 counterpart. Struck in nickel with a plain edge. A boldly struck dove-gray piece with unmarked surfaces, although the centers have a few minute mint-made planchet flaws.
