<B>1868 25C PR65 NGC.</B></I> The proof quarter mintage of 1868 amounted to just 600 specimens, and of the pieces extant today, few have the incredible eye appeal of this beautifully toned piece. The obverse has an orange center with bands of blue and emerald near the rims, while the reverse has a blend of rose, violet, and sapphire patina. Crisply struck with well-preserved surfaces.
