<B>1868 $1 PR63 PCGS.</B></I> Struck with unmistakable proof sharpness across both sides, this piece shows doubling along the right border of Liberty's shield, and repunching on the flag and along the base of 1 in the date. Attractive cobalt-blue, russet, and golden-brown peripheral toning appears on both sides. A few light handling marks occur on the obverse, and wispy hairlines are seen in the obverse and reverse fields. Housed in a first-generation holder from PCGS.
