<B>1867-S $5 AU53 NGC.</B></I> This early Motto S-mint issue has a small mintage of 29,000 pieces, few of which were set aside, or held for long as bank reserves. Neither NGC nor PCGS has certified any as Mint State, and even Bill Gates would have settle for an AU like everyone else. The present orange-gold representative is suitably struck, and only a pinscratch on the left obverse field bears mention.
