<B>1867-S $20 AU55 NGC.</B></I> The eye appeal of this Choice AU example is very high, chiefly due to an abundance of luster that is quite unusual for the grade. Typically softly struck on Liberty's hair, and on the obverse peripheral stars, this piece shows somewhat better detail on the reverse. Faint die clash marks are noted just behind Liberty's head, directly to the left of star 12. Both sides of the coin are moderately marked. This issue is scarce at the AU55 and AU58 grade levels, and rare in Mint State. <BR><BR><B>Coin Engraver:</B> James B.
