1867 H10C MS66 PCGS. This coin is a simply gorgeous Gem, the obverse is noticeably prooflike beneath variegated sea-green and blue toning that is framed by intense reddish-gold peripheral shadings. The reverse exhibits a champagne-peach center framed with green-blue iridescence at the border. There are numerous clashmarks (as struck) in the field on each side, and a die crack (also as produced) bisects the final S in STATES. The reverse shows some localized striking incompleteness is noticed over the AL in HALF, the D in DIME, and the largest leaf along the inner left side of the wreath. An unquestionably original representative that is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful business strike 1867 Half Dimes extant. Population: 5 in 66, 1 finer (10/03).
