<B>1867 5C No Rays PR66 Cameo NGC.</B></I> The fields show a great depth of mirrored reflectivity and the devices are well-frosted. A single shallow scratch on the shield is noted on the obverse, but its effect is minor. Very delicately toned a light pink. 1867 marked the second year of issue for the Shield nickel, and the design was changed by eliminating the rays on the reverse to facilitate better striking.
