<B>1867 5C No Rays PR65 PCGS.</B></I> Consistent light gold toning graces this intricately struck and undisturbed Gem. Rays were removed from the design in 1867 to extend the die life. The hard nickel alloy planchets were more difficult to coin than their silver half dime predecessors. Only 600+ proofs were struck.
