<B>1867 5C No Rays PR65 Cameo PCGS.</B></I> Second year of issue for the Shield nickel, the design was modified in 1867 by eliminating the rays on the reverse in order to facilitate better striking. The fields show great depth of mirrored reflectivity and the devices have a noticeable portion of mint frost, which gives the coin noticeable cameo contrast on both sides.
