1867<5C> Five Cents, Judd-561, Pollock-622, R.5, PR65 Cameo PCGS. Liberty faces left and is adorned with a headdress featuring four feathers and four stars. Liberty's profile greatly resembles the contemporary Indian cent, gold dollar, and three dollar portraits. Chief Engraver Longacre immodestly placed his full surname in small letters beneath the portrait. The reverse depicts an ornate shield with a superimposed large Roman numeral V. Struck in aluminum with a plain edge. A lightly toned and well preserved Gem with detectable frost on the portrait.
