<B>1867 50C MS64 PCGS.</B></I> WB-101. Normal Date. Gorgeous, deep multicolored toning adorns each side of this visually alluring near-Gem. The design elements are sharply struck, and even the hair detail on the top of Liberty's head is crisply rendered. An abrasion on Liberty's upper chest and a few faint hairlines in the right obverse field limit the grade. Wiley and Bugert (1993) assigned this variety a Low R.6 rarity ranking, in Mint State, in their <I>Complete Guide to Liberty Seated Half Dollars</B></I>.
