<B>1867 3CN PR66 Cameo NGC. CAC.</B></I> An estimated 625 proofs were struck of the 1867 three cent nickel. This is an exceptionally pleasing example whose surfaces are almost brilliant except for the slightest hint of peripheral golden color on each side. The devices are noticeably frosted and contrast strongly against the deeply reflective mirrors in the fields.
