<B>1867 25C PR65 NGC.</B></I> We present in this lot a resplendent proof quarter. Iridescent cobalt-blue, lavender, and golden-brown patination bathes both obverse and reverse, and frosted motifs stand amidst reflective fields, particularly on the obverse. An impressive strike resulted in crisp definition on the design features, further enhancing the coin's superlative eye appeal. Some inoffensive handling marks on the obverse preclude an even higher grade.
