The rarity of the business strike 1867 with full mint luster lends further importance to the Gem that we are offering in this lot. Aglow in orange-red color, both sides are uniformly reflective with sharply impressed devices. We are unable to find a single handling mark or carbon fleck that would seem to preclude an even higher grade. Population: 13 in 65 Red, only one is finer (1/03).From the Colburn Collection. Important notice: We expect to be auctioning lots at the rate of 200-250 per hour. On occasion eBay live bid software cannot keep up with the pace of the auctions where 4-5 lots per minute can hammer down, so we recommend that you place a realistic absentee bid now as insurance to avoid disappointment. Also please note that all Heritage/CAA lots purchased through eBay Live carry a 20% Buyer's Premium. Please make sure you read the Terms and Conditions.
