1866 Winchester lever-action musket, .44 rimfire caliber, shows mounting for saber bayonet, serial #42527, near range sent to Louisiana State militia. The rifle shows a grey to brown patina finish, some even wear on the barrel, light to moderate pitting and erosion and barrel address mostly legible but light. The barrel shows a few dings and marks. The frame shows a deep honey patina matching to the buttplate. The forend shows wear, exposure, a large chip on the left, smaller chip on right, and a repair at the front edge and is fair only. The buttstock has been lightly sanded and repaired. Shows a crack at the wrist which is opening where pieces have been reglued on both sides. The original bands and sights are retained. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
